At Sisters Working It Out (SWIO), we are committed to creating pathways to wellness for underserved communities by delivering holistic support, education, and compassionate care. Through culturally responsive programs and community-driven initiatives, we strive to improve health outcomes and build a future where everyone has the tools and resources to thrive.
Breast Cancer Education and Awareness Movement (BEAM):
A 12-week Community Health Educator training program.
Surviors' Day of Beauty:
is a community event for Cancer Survivors and their caregivers aimed to provide clinical education, bras, prosthesis, wigs & many other resources to improve quality of life post treatment.
Sisters Thriving Together (STT):
SWIO has patient navigators that educate and assist women with getting mammograms. Patient Navigators assist women form screening through treatment.
Community Outreach & Education:
Invite us to come speak and/or set up a table at your event.
Monthly Cancer Support Group Meetings:
2nd Tuesday of the Month at Timothy Community Corporation.
Transportion:
To and from your appointments. Call to schedule an appointment.
Nutrition Services:
Food distribution and nutrition education.
